Five steps to wise decision-making
1. Take on the challenge. Always submit to God’s call.
2. Seek answers. Use the word of God for direction.
3. Evaluate alternatives by giving both positive and negative aspects of each. Way out the results of your decision-making
4. Make a commitment. Never be double and trust God only.
5. Stick with the decision and deal with the difficult.
Always be aware of the problem around the corner and look for the answer that is already connected to it. God will never leave you alone.
Key 3. We are deceived, but not forget before our conversion.
a. Paul was deceived by tradition as an Orthodox Jew or the views that he was taught.
b. The deception of unbelief or the idea that something can’t be true.
c. And the fear of the unknown or the mindset of, that can’t be right.
• God has worked around our brokenness and he understands how fragile we are.
• Jesus saw beyond Paul’s faults and failures and allowed him to see God’s grace in action.
1 Samuel 16:7New International Version (NIV)
7 But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
• David was called and anointed standing before his brothers being the most unlikely to grow into a leadership position.
• Davis position was that of a shepherd tending sheep, so no one could see a king.
• They were deceived by his position.
• But God saw his character and a King was birthed through it.
Your road to Damascus, will shift you into your new position
